Last weekend was jampacked with activities:
Went bowling with the boys again on friday night. This time it was me, Jody, Joey, Dino, Ken and Emin. Ken was hella funny. He was playing a so-so game but then he got drunk and he suddenly got 5 strikes in a row! What the...?! We have since christened him the CrunKen Masta! Cindy and the 3 Lindas stopped by the bowling alley around 1am. The one Linda bowled a couple of frames on high heels. And she got a good score too! That was wierd haha.
Saturday went to Sacramento for dinner with Sac folks. We passed by SF to pick up Jessy and Phil. We ate at this Asian Sea Food Buffet place. Unlimited crab and lobster! Busog! We ended the night drinking and playing Catchphrase sa bahay nila Joel. I swear Ochie and Ninya must have some telepathic link. How else can you explain the following:
Ochie: Ano ang tawag sa babaeng manok?
Ninya: Rooster!
Ochie: Tama!
Ochie: Ano ang opposite ng in?
Ninya: On?
Ochie: Tama!
Ochie: KFC! (holds her hand up and waves her fingers)
Ninya: Finger lickin' good!
Ochie: Tama!
Now tell me how to explain that otherwise! Hahaha!
Sunday, we drove to Napa Valley. I recently watched the movie Sideways on HBO and have been thinking of getting into wine ever since. So was looking forward to this trip to Napa. We stopped by two wineries: Artesa, which was located on top of a hill and afforded a magnificent view of the surrounding valley. And Niebaum-Coppola which was partly owned by Francis Ford Coppola.
After that it was back to Sacramento para ihatid si Chona and then it was back to SF para naman ihatid si Jessy and Phil. We had dinner at Daly City first before bringing them home. Sarap ng bulalo steak sa Tia Shey!
Tiring weekend but fun!
