on weight loss and prime rib dinner bets

2 months ago this day I made a bet with Ninya that I will lose 10 pounds a month for 3 months. At the end of each month, if I don't reach my target weight loss , I'll treat her to a prime rib dinner.

Alam kong dehado ako but I did the bet para ma-motivate ako mag-lose ng weight. Kelangan eh...We're going sky-diving in November and, langya, there's an extra 1 dollar charge for each pound over 200 lbs! Yari ako dun! Hahahaha!

Anyways, first month I lost a grand total of....1 pound! Hahaha! Pathetic! Couldnt help it....had too many temptations....

This month was better though....when I weighed myself this morning I have lost 8 pounds since the start of the current month. Sayang 2 pounds na lang and I would have won the bet for this month. So that's two prime rib dinners that I owe Ninya now.

It's okay though. At least kahit paano I've been losing weight. And people have been noticing it too. So kahit paano I've come out a winner pa rin....and at least there's one more month for me to win a prime rib dinner :)

aha! kaya pala medyo wala ka sa mood kumain nung bumalik ka dito sa pinas.. hahaha sorry puro food trip pa naman ang gimik natin dito :) sana nasabi mo na prime rib pala ang katapat... we could have started marathon(ing) in luneta LOL! as if kaya ako.. I used to run 2 ovals when I was in Grade school.. pero that was then and this is now.. wala na enegy.. hehehe =) ok now i'm mumbling thoughts in your blog :P

pads, siguraduhin mong hindi mababawi ng prime rib dinner yung na lose mong weight!

kung pwedeng ibigay mo na lang sa akin yun na lose mo mas ok. come to think of it a prime rib dinner may help me gain weight *wink *wink

hay... weight loss... the woes with an american lifestyle... hahahaha! the best na solution dyan: 5 mile walk/run a day coupled with 5 a day (veggies and fruits). i've been wanting to do that kaso there simply is no time in this hectic, carnivorous side of the world. Hahahaha...
