missed opportunity

Driving down I-280 this afternoon I couldn't help but gaze at the scenery along the road and think how much these two friends of mine would've enjoyed it. You see, they were supposed to visit me here in San Jose this September. Alas, that plan went down the drain when my friend's application for a U.S. Visa was denied last Tuesday. Sayang, that would have been the ultimate adventure sana. I would have loved to have shown them around and share with them all the neat things that I have experienced here. I even created an itinerary of all the things we'll be doing and all the places we'll be visiting.
